(BATi)'s fused hybrid PM fiber tap enables the accurate monitoring and splitting of optical signals in polarization maintaining fiber and non-polarization maintaining fiber. Based on fused fiber technology, the hybrid PM fiber tap demonstrates very low loss, high power handling and there is no price penalty for adding a second input port. It is used in power monitoring of PM sources and coherent communications.
